We are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team working a 5 day week with full time hours. Part-time hours will be considered for the right applicant.
You must be experienced, enthusiastic and willing to learn. To be considered for this role you must have a thorough knowledge of Accounts Payable/Receivable & general accounting functions. Payroll experience advantageous but willing to train the right candidate.
Position Description:
- Full Accounts Payable Function
- Full Accounts Receivable Function
- Bank Reconciliations
- Invoicing
- End of month processing
- Ad-Hoc duties as required
- MYOB experience is essential
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role dealing with multiple entities & willingness to learn
- Ability to work unsupervised & strong attention to detail
- Experience using MS Office, utilizing programs such as Outlook, Word & Excel
- Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
- Candidate must be punctual and reliable
