Accounts Assistant

We are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team working a 5 day week with full time hours. Part-time hours will be considered for the right applicant.

You must be experienced, enthusiastic and willing to learn. To be considered for this role you must have a thorough knowledge of Accounts Payable/Receivable & general accounting functions. Payroll experience advantageous but willing to train the right candidate.

Position Description:

• Full Accounts Payable Function
• Full Accounts Receivable Function
• Bank Reconciliations
• Invoicing
• End of month processing
• Ad-Hoc duties as required
• MYOB experience is essential

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role dealing with multiple entities & willingness to learn        
• Ability to work unsupervised & strong attention to detail
• Experience using MS Office, utilizing programs such as Outlook, Word & Excel
• Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
• Candidate must be punctual and reliable
