We are a well-established business operating nationally with head office based on the Gold Coast.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dedicated Accounts Assistant, who is motivated with drive, personality, and ability to support, grow, and improve our accounts function.
Ideally, we are seeking someone with a minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in a busy environment, where being able to multi task is needed. Your enthusiasm and positive work ethic will provide you with an opportunity to rise through the ranks and the role itself will evolve, therefore openness to change is a must.

Key duties will include:
- Processing Accounts Receivable – invoicing, receipting of payments, distribution of customer statements and following up on payments outstanding via phone or email.
- End to end processing of Accounts Payable.
- Processing all company credit card receipts.
- Daily manage all bank and credit card reconciliations, including cash takings.
- Ensuring all documentation is sorted and filed daily.
- Working closely with and assisting the accounting team and duties as required.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- At least 3+ years accounts experience.
- High level of computer literacy in Microsoft office applications with intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Xero is essential.
- Experience with Stripe and PayPal desirable.
- Experience with CRM systems is not essential but a bonus!
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Ability to multi task and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a small but busy environment.
- Strong time management skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- A positive and professional team player.
- Strong sense of ownership.
