Form of work Your new company Global company with local branches across NSW, QLD, and VIC. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a temporary basis. The role is initially for a 6' month period with opportunity to extend to a longer-term role. Based in Sydney's North Shore. Your new role You will be responsible for assisting the AR, AP, and Billings Officers with the following:
Accounts receivable - collection of outstanding debt
Debtor accounts reconciliation
Billings - raising sales invoices
Accounts payable - entering supplier invoices to the system
Checking subcontractors' licences and other documentation
Following up outstanding or incorrect documentation
Maintenance of internal systems to record documentation
Assisting department with project work and other administrative tasks
What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable
Experience in collection calls and chasing debt
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in an accounting support role
Expertise using ERP systems beneficial
Skilled in MS Office Suite including Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping (debits and credits)
