AddressPaccon Logistics Pty Ltd an international global forwarder located in Parramatta, is looking for a dynamic Accounts Clerk / Officer to support the finance department. Role suitable for students undertaking an accounting / book-keeping course and wanting to get their foot in the door. On the job training will be provided. Role is also suitable for a parent returning to the workforce. Office is within walking distance of public transport.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day finance functions including but not limited:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Bank & GL reconciliations, supplier reconciliation
- Assist with monthly budgeting and forecasting
- Lodgements of statutory obligations (BAS / PAYG)
- Accounts administration and data processing
- Ad hoc duties where required
The successful applicant will need to possess and demonstrate:
- Recently completed or undertaking an Accounting or bookkeeping diploma / accounting degree
- Basic Accounting knowledge
- Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent work ethic and self motivated
- High-Level English communication skills, both written and verbally
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Sound analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Trustworthy and reliable with a can do attitude
- Mature minded
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Someone who can show initiative
