About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, confident Accounts Officer to take ownership of a wide range of duties & be accountable for supporting the wider Credit function with day-to-day duties.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly into the Head of Finance your responsibilities will include (not limited to):
- Manage your own portfolio of accounts
- Follow up and resolve unprocessed claims and invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Maintain customer accounts and information on debtor's ledger
- Follow-up on overdue accounts and taking a proactive approach to collections
- Processing of customer credit claims
- Handling account queries - internal/external
- Process payments, credit notes and refunds
Skills & Experience
Ideally you will be a self-motivated, hardworking individual with excellent communication & interpersonal skills. You will have exceptional multi-tasking skills, will be adaptable to pick up a variety of different tasks & will be motivated to do so. Intermediate to advanced excel skills (v lookup/ pivot tables/ sum if) will be highly regarded & key to your success in the role.
