Accounts Officer

Based in the beautiful Blue Mountains, this position is responsible for the accurate and up to date accounting records and reporting for DARE's business interests.  

You will: - 

• engage positively with customers to ensure timely collection of revenue and minimise bad debts; 
• be responsible for accounts payable functions; 
• generate invoices and quotes where necessary; 
• Balance and maintain a petty cash float; and 
• liaise with suppliers and customers.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent communication, data entry and numeracy skills; work with attention to detail; be able to work independently and possess a working knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes. 

Demonstrated experience in a computerised accounting system (preferably Attache) as well as intermediate level in Excel.

A minimum 2 years experience in a finance role will be highly regarded.
