Sapura Energy Australia (SEA) is a leading offshore oil and gas subsea contractor in the region with more than 3 decades of track record in the offshore construction market. SEA is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Malaysian based Sapura Energy Berhad. We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join the team, to work across multiple clients.
Responsibilities
- Processing project direct invoices and expense claims
- Attending to vendor queries
- Reconcile AP aging report to general ledger
- Preparation of weekly payment requests in the banking system
- Reconcile and process company credit card statements
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Assisting with cash flow planning
- Clearing of intercompany amounts to loan accounts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Up to 2 years experience in a similar role
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Time management and organisation skills.
- Covering for other staff in the finance department
- Dealing with a high proportion of foreign currency transactions
- Ability to cope in times of high pressure
- Experience in working in a team environment
