With the high growth across our 4 offices, we are seeking a dedicated Accounts Officer to join our team at Port Melbourne on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconciliations for debtors / creditors, bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions.
- Process invoices, customer payments, and employee expense reimbursements.
- Manage accounts receivable functions and follow up with debtors to ensure timely payments.
- Prepare aging reports and cash flow forecasts to support financial planning.
- Evaluate credit applications and assess customer trading histories.
- Handle documentation for customer returns and credit/refund processing.
- Oversee the sample stock register and coordinate with the project and sales teams.
- Ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with MYOB Advanced and/or ProSpend is highly preferred.
- Attention to detail, excellent time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.
- A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively with the Financial Manager and other team members.
