This role will provide administrative assistance in the preparation of financial accounts and other compliance activities such as cash controls, accounts receivable and preparation of financial accounts / reports. This role requires high level of confidentiality and responsibility with the ability to handle sensitive information.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and report to directors and managers the daily bank balances using Microsoft Power Bi Tool.
- Update cashflow spreadsheet on the daily basis.
- Reconcile bank statement for two business accounts.
- Attend to accounts payable inbox and process suppliers’ invoices in job management system and overheads invoices in Xero.
- Scheduling overhead payments in Xero and update cashflow spreadsheet.
- Process and reconcile seven individual Visa and three individual Amex credit cards transactions.
- Follow up outstanding debts from AR.
- Fill out credit application when required.
- Assist with month-end processes, AP statement reconciliation and following up approval of invoices from Microsoft Teams.
- Maintaining and updating the list of subcontractors for TPAR reporting.
REQUIREMENTS
- Cert IV or Diploma in Accounting and Bookkeeping
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated use of Xero
- Advanced Microsoft Office Package skills, particularly Excel
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and independence
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A positive team player attitude whilst being able to work autonomously
Knowledge of simPRO would be advantageous.
