Administration and Payroll Manager, Bunbury
Plumbers and Gasfitters Bunbury is a rapidly expanding business located in the South West of Western Australia. As we grow, we are excited to offer new opportunities and are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administration and Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team.
The Role:
- Full-time position, 38-hour week, 8am - 4pm
- Competitive hourly rates
- Immediate start
Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to emails and phone calls promptly and professionally
- Enter jobs and work orders into the system accurately
- Organise and schedule jobs and work for subcontractors efficiently
- Process payroll for all staff accurately and on time
- Handle invoicing and ensure timely payments
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure financial accuracy
- Use Xero, ServiceM8, and other general software applications effectively
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in Administration and Payroll roles
- Strong interest in bookkeeping and accounting with a commitment to professional growth
- Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and polite phone manner
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in Xero software
Preferred but not essential Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within construction industry
- Familiarity with ServiceM8 software
-Proficient with using MAC computers and software
