Due to the rapid growth within the Health Care sector, we have an open position for an experienced Billing Officer.
Salary
$70k - $75k + super
About the role
Reporting to the Billing Manager, the Billing Officer role is responsible for the set up and billing for all new, current, and discharged residents. The Billing Officer will act as the central point of contact for all billing matters for residents and various stakeholders throughout the business. The Billing Officer will have varied responsibilities including;
- Process daily admission and discharges for residents
- Process monthly government funding reconciliation
- Respond to all incoming billing queries from relevant stakeholders
- Conduct fortnightly and monthly billing runs
- Assist with preparation of fee and RAD/Bond Refunds
- Conduct month-end reconciliation
Skills and Experience
- 2 years + experience working in aged care Billing Officer role
- Working knowledge of the Aged Care Act (1997) and legislation as it relates to fees and billings
- Proven ability to work with external stakeholders with excellent customer service skills
- Epicor experience and proficient with Microsoft Office
