The role:
We are looking for a skilled Accounts Officer to join our client's team full-time at their Head Office in Brisbane.
You will play a key role in supporting the flawless operation of their finances, ensuring close collaboration with the Financial Controller to maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting.
Main responsibilities:
* Overlooking daily financial transactions
* Allocating deposits to transaction files for efficiency purposes
* Preparation of invoices, providing high-level accuracy
* Maintain financial records
* Assisting with bank transactions
* Bank statement reconciliation
* Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
* Utilize BAS Excel reconciliation models for reporting and analysis purposes
* Support auditing procedures ensuring that the company is compliant with all regulations
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
* Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
* Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
* Professional understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles
