About The Position
GDP Group is seeking a collaborative and proactive Part Timer (20 – 24 hours per week) to work in Accounts Receivable.
You can expect to be responsible for:
- Accounts Receivable – Client Invoicing
- Aged Debtors reports and follow-up
- Reports and controls
- Daily MYOB and CRM software processing,
- Cash flow analysis
- Intercompany transactions
- Accounts-related processing, journals, reconciliations, daily, month-end tasks, year-end tasks.
About YOU
Do you have strong experience in financial accounting; a grounded, collaborative approach to relationship building and team leadership?
The following skills, knowledge and experience will set you up for success in this role:
- Relevant Accounting Qualification / Studying
- A thorough understanding of accounting rules and principles including accounts processing, reconciliations, aged debtors, month-end and annual accounting and administrative tasks.
- Intermediate systems Applications including MYOB, Excel, Outlook & Word
- Understanding of simPRO would be highly advantageous (CRM Software)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management, prioritisation and completion of tasks according to importance and urgency
- Ability to take responsibility and ownership of assigned tasks and to see jobs through to completion
- Attention to time lines, quality and detail
- Collaborative, solutions-based approach
- Motivated self-starter
- Loyal with commitment to their role/position
- Excellent organisation skills with proven track record
