We are looking for a friendly and motivated person to join our team to support our growing business.
Your role will work within the accounts department providing support with accounts and administrative tasks.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the management of both accounts payable and receivable
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards and keeping financial records
- Maintaining customer and vendor accounts
- Preparation of month end statements
- Processing and reconciling inter-company transactions
- Providing periodic management accounts and financial analysis
- Managing employee expense claims
- General administration tasks as required
Qualifications and experience
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable;
- Knowledge and ability to operate MS Outlook, Word and Excel;
- Experience with Xero
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Experienced problem-solving skills;
- Self-motivation with the ability to work without supervision; and
- Capacity to work under pressure, show initiative, prioritise and schedule work as required
Working Hours
The role will be part-time, 20-24 hours per week, with the potential to increase.
