Are you a detail-oriented individual with experience in Accounts Payable?
We're looking for someone like you to join our dynamic Finance team in an exciting new role! Our client is a renowned global architectural design firm, who is leading the way in redefining the landscape of sports and entertainment venues across the globe.
Primary purpose of the role:
As an essential member of our finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day Accounts Payable function of the Asia Pacific region.
Role responsibilities:
• Accurately enter invoices into the accounts processing system to ensure
appropriate recording and collation.
• Maintaining and organising supplier records, including filing and updating
relevant information.
• Thoroughly checking and verifying invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
to ensure accurate financial records.
• Auditing and processing credit card bills in accordance with company policies,
procedures, and processes.
• Addressing and promptly respond to vendor inquiries and requests.
• Investigating and resolving account discrepancies and instances of non
compliance in a timely manner.
• Assisting in general accounting tasks, including the preparation of balance
sheets and profit and loss reconciliations to support month-end and year-end
close processes.
• Provide support to the Financial Controller and offer coverage during the
absences of other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Ideal candidate:
1+ years’ practical experience in an operational finance role.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Australian payroll is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong time management and organisational abilities.
• Understanding and knowledge of basic accounting principles.

• The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
