The role is to maintain the Accounts Payable for the Oldmac Group consisting of Oldmac Toyota, Springwood Mazda, Redlands Mazda and Oldmac MG.
What you will be doing
- Process creditors’ invoices and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Reconcile the creditors’ accounts.
- Draw all payments (cheques, BPAY & EFT) for Oldmac Toyota, Oldmac Mazda & Redlands Motors & Oldmac MG in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Prepare analysis of creditor’s accounts.
- Issue vendor numbers.
- Monthly reconciliations of vendors, sublets and other relevant general ledger accounts.
- Reception relief.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable
- General ledger experience to trial balance stage
- Experience in managing Accounts Payable for a medium to large organisation
- Understanding and processing of journals
- Ability to reconcile large accounts
- Computer literacy essential
- Competence using MS Excel, MS Word
- Knowledge of Tune, Era Net, Magic System desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Good phone manner
- Excellent time management skills
