Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Shared Services Team. Reporting to the Financial Operations Manager, you will work with our
Accounts Payable Team overseeing our 10 Private Hospitals in all
Accounts Payable matters. The SVHA Shared Services Team provides
Accounts Payable, Financial Accounting and Payroll support to all of St Vincent’s Health Australia across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.This opportunity is available on a Full Time Fixed Term arrangement for 12 months with review that the successful applicant may secure a Permanent vacancy after this time. The role is based in our Bowen Hills Head Office with the ability to work in a hybrid arrangement – WFH and office.
Key responsibilities of the role:- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and respond to high volume email enquiries
- Process a high volume of invoices through OCR and finance system for approval
- Review and assess payment documents for validity of transactions
- Work with stakeholders to review and correct complex three way matching errors
- Carry out reconciliations of supplier statement to creditor ledger
- Set up and complete weekly payment runs including payment to overseas entities

- Creative and innovative thinking, with a willingness to explore and develop new process ideas and see them through to completion
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to collaborate, work as a team and as an individual, and support on multiple priorities simultaneously and seamlessly while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to deadlines
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly - Microsoft D365 experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently communicate with suppliers and facility based staff
- Current 2023 Flu Vaccine or the willingness to receive the 2024 Flu Vaccine when available, and a minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations
