KCB Australia Pty Ltd. (KCB) requires a part time Accounts Payable Clerk to support the Accounting team Brisbane. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a small experienced team of accountants and project teams, servicing clients in mining and non-mining sectors across Australasia, Asia-Pacific, and internationally.
This role will give you the opportunity to:
- Work closely with the Australian accounting team and specifically the Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to fulfill an Accounts Payable role, comprising:
- Accounts payable.
- BST input.
- Credit card reconciliation.
- Assist Business Unit Accountants with accounting tasks.
- Purchase Orders.
- Operate in accordance with KCB Accounting Processes to meet global company standards.
- Operate within and in accordance with KCB’s H&S guidelines and Quality management systems. KCB promotes Zero Harm in the workplace and has a culture of safety awareness.
- Work a part time schedule, with a preference for 24 hours per week. There may be opportunity for the role to grow with the business. There will be opportunity to work additional hours during busy periods and to cover holiday and other absences.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous Accounts Payable experience with an engineering or similar professional services firm would be an advantage.
- Above average proficiency with Excel and an overall comfort with using computers and learning new software, experience with BST Enterprise an advantage.
- Ability to maintain excellent working relationship with staff and clients and the ability to demonstrate proven success working in a team environment are very important.
- The successful candidate will also be an excellent communicator, have great organisational skills and a solid work ethic.
