Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dedicated team at B & E Foods Head Office. This critical role will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable process, ensuring accurate and efficient financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, reconciling purchase orders, delivery receipts, and invoices with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain vendor accounts, track payments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the procurement and finance teams to ensure smooth and efficient payment processing.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of Accounts Payable, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
• Generate and review financial reports related to Accounts Payable.
• Stay informed about industry best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy in the Accounts Payable process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet applications.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• A commitment to accuracy, accountability, and financial integrity.
