We are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join and contribute to the ongoing success of DEMEX!
The role is varied, the team is supportive and the company cares. We have big ambitions and exciting plans ahead, and we are keen to bring on an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Officer who will provide essential financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organisation. This role is critical in ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing payments and controlling expenses by processing payments, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

You are an analytically minded individual with a warm personality, who enjoys the fast-paced variety of your day-to-day. You are motivated and look forward to taking ownership of managing the Accounts Payable ledgers of the business, providing effective creditor management and maintaining relationships with our critical suppliers.
You will also have:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Great attention to detail
- A ‘can-do’ attitude and team player mindset
- The knack for continuously improving work processes.
- An ability to work within strict deadlines.
- The independence to work and prioritise tasks.
- Previous experience with complex ERP systems essential.

- Accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any queries regarding accounts.
- Setting up supplier and contractor payments.
- Solving inquiries in a professional and friendly matter via phone and email
- Supporting the management, project, and finance teams
