About the Role:

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer with previous experience in a similar role.

A key team member of the Finance team, this role reports to the Financial Controller and your role will be responsible for processing / data entry of a high volume fast-paced Accounts Payable environment.

What will I be doing:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record within a similar role:

• High volume data entry and processing of invoices
• Matching purchase order with invoices
• Querying invoices with internal and external contacts when required
• Receiving supplier calls and emails and resolving Accounts Payable queries
• Processing monthly subcontractor progress claims, including requesting any associated paperwork from subcontractors
• Ensuring all accounts filing is up to date
• Other accounts related tasks as directed
• Liaise with the operations teams

About You:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Intermediate MS Office skills especially Outlook and Excel
• An ability to use initiative, plan, organise and prioritise multiple tasks
• A positive, professional and team focused attitude
• Strong attention to detail with a high regard for accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience working with Dynamics GP accounting software and Uptick service software and/or the construction industry will be highly regarded
