Overview
In a fast-paced environment where you are often dealing with complex, sensitive financial industry information, you will need the ability to work well under pressure while juggling multiple tasks. You will be a team player who is willing to support colleagues, while also capable of working independently.
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for key areas across AP including but not limited to:
Complete fortnightly payment runs, ad-hoc overseas payments and ensure Accounts Payable transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Monthly reconciliation of payables sub-ledgers.
Provide analysis and support to vendors and staff in relation to payment processing and management of creditors.
- Process DINERS credit card transactions and create journals as per timeline. - Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries.
Assisting in ad-hoc financial management, requests and analysis.
Liaise with and assist the ANAO in relation to the annual audit.
Desired Experience and Capabilities
Ability to prioritise and strong time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong initiative and ability to problem solve.
Knowledge of Financial Management Information Systems (Oracle - AP).
Knowledge of relevant legislation applicable to AP matters
Tertiary qualifications in finance/accounting.
