Service Stream’s Corporate division are currently seeking an AP Officer to join our Transactional Business Services team. Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Lead, you will be responsible for delivering efficient and effective transactional services in line with the groups strategic and operational objectives. Based in our Collins Street head office (VIC), and offered on a 1 Year Maximum Term, Full-Time basis, this position is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard in the delivery and performance of day to day transactional services
- Keep track, process and reconcile payments and expenditure including expenses, vendor invoices and payment requisitions in compliance with the financial policies and procedures
- Liaise with internal and external clients
- Processing accurate payment of vendor invoices and expense reports
- Effectively maintain customer and supplier master data
- Identify opportunities for improvement where possible
Skills and Experience
- Prior experience as an AP Officer is highly desired
- Strong understanding of transactional banking duties
- Experience within the telecommunications and utilities industry is desirable
- Exposure to transactional banking and credit management within a corporate environment
- Good organisation, communication and time management skills
- Prior experience with online banking, Veda Advantage, ConSol, IFS, Jobpac is advantageous, however not essential
