Trading for over 30 years, Hydro Vision is one of Queensland's leading service providers in irrigation system design and construction.
With a strong focus on commercial irrigation, our services include design, installation, and servicing in connection with a wide range of projects such as sports turf, golf courses, water features and fountains, storm water harvesting and central control systems.
The Role
The role is a part time one working approximately 20 – 25 hours per week. This would suit university student, parent with school age children or mature worker winding down to retirement. As a valued member of a close-knit unit, you will work closely with the Head Office finance team and liaise with operational management.
Your duties will include:
- Process all payables for the company, ensuring that the payments are timely, accurate and authorised
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Provide accurate reports to the CFO of payments due
- Reconcile credit card accounts and record all outgoing disbursements
- Responsible for capturing all GST on appropriate invoices
- Keep track of credits owed to the company and ensure all credits are properly applied to supplier payments
- Reconcile Accounts Payable reports each month to confirm that all amounts paid were accurate
- Assisting Head Office team with trade creditor reconciliations for other group entities when required.
Your Skills/Attributes
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable Experience would be an advantage
- Previous Xero Accounts Payable Experience or ability to pick up new things quickly
- Ability to use Microsoft software such as Outlook, Excel and Word
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational ability
- Right to live and work in Australia
