Our client is a leading, family-owned, civil construction company specialising in early works and site preparations for commercial, residential and infrastructure projects. Working with large T1 and T2 companies and with an annual turnover of over $50mil, the business is rapidly growing.
The finance team in particular are looking to streamline processes and are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team! This role will be based in the office 5 days per week from their head office in Macquarie Park.
The Role
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures- high volumes of invoicing
- Managing roughly 1000 invoices monthly - mix of high and low value
- General credit card expenses
- Paying vendors and respond to all finance related queries
- Liaising with internal contacts and suppliers to ensure payments are made efficiently and accurately
- Continuous improvement of payment processes
- Assist the wider Finance Team across adhoc requests & duties
- 2 years minimum experience in an Accounts Payable role, construction background ideal
- Tertiary qualifications within Finance/Accounting advantageous
- Impeccable communication skills - Both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
- Salary negotatiable and dependant on experience, up to $85,000 + superannuation
- 5 days in the office, parking onsite
- Based in Macquarie Park
