About the Role
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our professional, friendly & vibrant team.
Located at our head office in Salisbury Plain and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be working in a team environment and will be involved in all areas of Accounts Payable, including posting invoices, data entry and collation of statements at the end of each month. We are seeking an organised and professional self-motivated individual with good communication skills to be part of our exciting team. The successful candidate should be able to work autonomously and will be trained and supported in our digital systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Data entry (tax invoices)
- Checking invoices against subcontracts, purchase orders & quotes etc.
- Reconciling monthly invoice statements
- Preparation of payments
- Managing Accounts Payable queries
- Maintenance of Accounts Payable records
Experience & Qualifications
The successful candidate must have or demonstrate:
- Experience or training in a similar role
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in use of standard Microsoft Office programmes including, Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Time management & organisational skills
Desirable qualities (not mandatory):
- Experience in the building & construction industry
- Experience with Jonas Premier Construction Software will be highly regarded
