Accounts Payable Officer

Sci-Fleet Motors is a family owned and operated local business that has been servicing South East QLD for over 40 years. Sci-Fleet has grown to be one of the largest organisations within the motor vehicle industry.

Sci-Fleet Motors are looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Officer to join our Administration team at Kedron. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic person looking to build a career in Accounts Payable and increase their administration skills. This is a great opportunity for someone with a growth mindset and a willingness to learn other key functions within the team. 

You will be responsible for:

• High volume Accounts Payable - end to end process (monthly & weekly payment runs)
• Reconciliation of creditor accounts
• Purchase order matching
• Building relationships and liaising with internal & external stakeholders to achieve results
• Manage electronic document and workflow software (Docuware)
• Database maintenance & data entry
• Accurate record keeping
• General administration tasks
• Identifying areas for continuous improvement across Accounts Payable processes

About you:

• You will have demonstrated experience in a similar role. Automotive dealership experience is desirable, though not essential
• You can demonstrate your ability to be flexible and adaptable
• You are able to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines, with minimal data entry errors
• You can build strong working relationships with your team and you have an excellent attitude to teamwork
• You are a team player and are able to work autonomously
• You have strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
