Accounts Payable Officer

This highly successful distribution company services multiple industry sectors with a large stakeholding within the mining sector.  

Continuously experiencing ongoing growth and an increase in market share, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer who has excellent analytical skills and enjoys working closely with suppliers and building strong relationships.
 
Duties will include:

• Managing a portfolio of mining clients
• Reconciliation of supplier invoices with multiple lines and high dollar value
• Entering invoices into excel to investigate duplications or missing data
• Ensuring all information is correct and due and payable
• Liaising with suppliers and various departments to investigate discrepancies 
• Entering invoices into the system
• Reconcile suppliers accounts
• Building strong relationships with suppliers
• Shared management of the AP inbox

This is a fast paced role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
 
To be successful in the role you would have an intermediate level of excel knowledge along with excellent reconciliation skills and enjoy working with suppliers and various internal departments.
