Your new role:
Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, your key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the ongoing management and maintenance of the expense management tool.
- Ensure all payment requests are accompanied by complete and accurate documentation.
- Maintain and organise invoices receipts, and other financial documents for audit and reporting purposes.
- Provide support to internal stakeholders by addressing inquiries and providing financial information related to Accounts Payable activities.
- Monitor and reconcile vendor statements to ensure all invoices are accounted for and payments are up to date.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and resolution of outstanding issues.
- Assist with initiating, approving, and tracking payments within the online banking portal.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of Accounts Payable policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
- Actively engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay up to date.
- Ensure adherence to Workplace Health & Safety requirements and other Company Policies and Procedures
- Any other ADHOC duties as required within your skill level and qualifications.

- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a professional accounting role, specifically Accounts Payable experience is preferable.
- Experience operating Pronto ERP, MYOB, Redmap or similar expense management tools is desirable but not mandatory.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and a basic understanding of work management tool, Monday.
- Possesses ability to prioritise effectively and is highly productive.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to pick up things quickly.
- A desire to grow and develop within a growing national business.
- Strong general administration skills and a high attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and as an effective team member.
- Effective communication skills at all levels
- Ability to review reports.
