Cono are hiring a full time Accounts & Payroll Administration Assistant to join our team at our Botany office.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Payroll
▪️ Reconciling 500+ timesheets per week, assigning loadings, overtime & allowances to employees as per the EBA and filing of dockets in preparation for the plant hire claim
▪️ Answering Payroll enquiries and managing payroll Inbox
▪️ Assisting with Cono’s Financial Accountant in finalisation of Payroll submission
▪️ Finalising of the onboarding of employees into Union/ACIRT & Uplus
▪️ Ensuring compliance of employee data and file management
Accounts Receivable
▪️ Complete weekly invoicing for a large-scale plant hire company
▪️ Work alongside plant allocations to ensure all plant and equipment are invoiced
Accounts Payable
▪️ Providing Purchase Orders to company employees
▪️ Reconciliation of bills against Purchase Orders
▪️ Following up with any discrepancies with suppliers
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
✅ Experience in Civil Construction essential, preferably in Australia
✅ Previous experience of invoicing for a construction company desirable
✅ An understanding of plant and equipment in order to maximise the plant hire claim
✅ A sound knowledge and understanding of payroll systems and application of core Payroll processing functions and legislative requirements
✅ A high attention to detail with excellent written communication skills
