The Role
In this newly created role, the Accounts Receivable Officer will play a pivotal role in the organisation's financial operations, with the main focus being daily processing & allocation of customer payments & debtor management.
Reporting to the AP/AR Lead, the Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for:
- Daily processing, allocation & receipting of all customers payments
- Managing AR inbox
- Outbound debt collection
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies in billing or payments
- Issuing customer credit notes/refunds
- Bank reconciliations
- Managing AR month end tasks
- Build strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders
Your Profile
You will be a dynamic, adaptable Accounts Receivable Officer, with at least 3 years' experience in a large scale, fast paced environment.
You will possess strong time manage skills, with the ability to multitask & work to deadlines. You will have a demonstrated understanding of customer payment allocations & receipting, with a high level of verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and you will excel in engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
An ability to work both autonomously, and in a team/office environment, providing support where required is a must, with proficiency in office technology and using MS Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables).
You must also have or be willing to obtain:
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (must be maintained)
- A current Working with Children Check (must be maintained)
- A current national Police Check (must be maintained)
- A current unrestricted driver's licence (must be maintained)
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
