Our Client Perks People Solutions are currently recruiting several accounts roles including an immediate start for an Accounts Receivable Officer. Located on the outskirts of the Adelaide CBD, our client can provide a professional and dynamic work environment where your skills and experience will be valued. An opportunity now exists for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join a national organisation, on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Role
Reporting through to the Finance Manager, your duties will include: - Generate and send out a high volume of invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform regular account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding debtors
- Collaborate internally to resolve payment issues
- Receipting and allocation of payments
- Prepare and analyse reports related to Accounts Receivable
- Respond to enquiries in a prompt and professional manner
- Assist the finance department with ad hoc duties as required
About you
- Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable field
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Strong system skills i.e. Excel and accounting packages
