The Opportunity to join our Team and make a difference
As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate allocation of payments to accounts.Some of the duties of the role will include:
- Prepare daily banking and journals, review and reconcile accounts.
- Receipt debtor payments and donations and assist in following up overdue accounts.
- Generate debtor invoices and statements as required and assist with processing authorised write-offs and credit notes.
- Maintain correct details for direct debits, and process monthly files including credit cards.
- Assist with debt recovery procedures.
- Provide relief and backup support to team members as required.
Ideal Experience & Skillset
- Ability to organise and prioritise own work activities and schedules to meet established deadlines and achieve high quality work outcomes.
- Strong computer skills, intermediate level ability in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of financial software including Accounts Receivable and general ledger modules - previous experience in D365 and Direct Debit procedures will be highly regarded.
- Ability to maintain sustained level of concentration in a volume processing activity to ensure accuracy and identify errors to be addressed.
- Proven ability to deal with debtor queries and outstanding accounts in a courteous and professional manner.
