We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded Accounts Receivable Officer who has an approach that optimises partnering, communication and team and who is looking to work 4 days a week.
THE JOB
Reporting into the Finance and Administration Manager this role manages the Accounts Receivable function within the Gant Retail, E-Commerce, D2C and marketplace channels.
Gant Retail & Ecommerce - National
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Track cash deposits.
- Reconcile Afterpay to calculate daily fees / GST journal to GL.
- Follow up any variances with store & e-commerce managers and process journal adjustments
- Credit note / gift voucher write offs
- Submission of Turnover certificates to landlords
- Reconcile Undeposited Funds account in Balance Sheet
- Ad hoc analysis as required.
Direct to Consumer (D2C) – Marketplace
- daily bank reconciliation.
- Journal any fees to required GL accounts.
- Follow up any variances with D2C manager.
EFTPOS terminal Management
- Ordering of new EFTPOS terminals, and linking AMEX as required.
- Work with retail stores in updating / replacing EFTPOS Terminals
WHAT SKILLS AND COMPREHENSION DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
- 5+ years AR experience
- Experience with: ERP software ideally AP21 will be highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with various internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to build relationships and influence as necessary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
- Comfortable with technology – intermediate MS Suite skills are a must, with a strong understanding of MS Excel
