Overview of key responsibilities:
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team. Reporting directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager and working within a medium sized team, the role will include but not be limited to:

• Manage a debtors ledger of approx. 400 accounts
• Daily allocation of EFT, Cheque and Credit Card payments
• Timely invoice processing
• Account reconciliations 
• Follow up on outstanding accounts and overdue debt
• Review and set up new accounts and customers, including the completion of credit checks
• Handle queries with both internal and external customers
• Assist with reporting duties
• Ad hoc duties to support the team

What our client is looking for:
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar AR role, within a medium sized organisation, as well as the following attributes:

• First class communication, from both a verbal and written perspective
• High level interpersonal and time management skills, with a passionate attitude
• Strong negotiation skills with a resilient nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders / customers
• Desire to work collaboratively among a close knit team
• High level time management skills and a keen eye for detail
