Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to be part of a dynamic team who enjoy working together to succeed. Working within a small team reporting to the Finance Manager you will focus primarily on Accounts Receivable, debt collection, support month end and other reporting functions.

Your attention to detail is flawless, you will be willing to participate and support the finance team as well as wider company operations and can positively demonstrate your ability to work well within a team and autonomous environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Debt collecting by phone and email
• Accurate data entry of financial information for all Accounts Receivable processes.
• Monitor and review debt collection.
• Providing financial support to the finance team and wider business, in an effective and efficient manner in accordance with the company’s policies, procedures and practices.
• Manage and maintain an efficient process that enables systematic and organised filing for all documents.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the finance team and other departments in any ad hoc or internal projects as required.

To be successful in the role you will have:

• 4+ years' experience in Accounts Receivable/credit role.
• Experience working with national accounts.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office Skills.
• Be able to manage deadlines effectively and prioritise a constantly changing workload.
• Professional and personable phone manner and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Task driven and goal orientated.
• Ability to be adaptable and agile to fulfil the objectives of the team and business.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
