Accounts Receivable

Our client has a long history as a major commercial food service equipment supplier in the Australian market. They are 100% Australian owned with over 170 staff nationally and supported by an Australia wide dealer and service network, they are driven to exceed customer and client expectations.
This is a 4 month full time casual position with a view to go permanent. Parking on site in Port Melbourne is available. A supportive team environment with training will be provided.
About the role
As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be supporting the finance team to drive efficiency in managing the full Accounts Receivable function.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Daily receipting and following up of outstanding receipts
• Bank reconciliation
• Management of cash payments
• Undertaking debt recovery management
• Maintaining customer requests and updating the internal database
• Managing month end processes

Skills and Experience

• Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
• Experience within an Accounts Receivable role in a busy environment
• Ability to work proficiently in a medium to high volume environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
