Position Vacant – Accounts/Administration Officer
Farmers Warehouse, a respected and long-established rural store with locations in Singleton and Dungog, is seeking a dynamic Accounts and Administration Officer to join our Singleton team. Initially, this role will be casual (approximately 20-30 hours per week) with the potential for full-time permanent employment as our business continues to grow.
Key Attributes/Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Accounts payable experience
- Payroll experience (desirable)
- Strong time management skills and keen attention to detail
- Proficient in cash management and till reconciliation
- Solid background in administration
- Excellent phone etiquette and written communication skills
- Experience with MYOB accounting software or similar platforms
Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited to:
- Collaborating effectively within the Accounts and Administration team
- Adhering to company policies and procedures with a focus on confidentiality
- Handling phone calls and directing them appropriately
- Assisting with payroll using MYOB
- Processing non-stock creditor invoices and debtor payments
- Reconciling daily EFTPOS transactions and monthly credit card statements
- Monitoring office consumables and placing orders as needed
- Assist with training, functions, and field day events
- Processing account applications and troubleshooting customer statements
