Our Northern NSW Environmental group is seeking an Acoustics Consultant to develop and enhance the Northern NSW Region acoustics, noise and vibration capabilities.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Noise and vibration impact assessments for both construction and operational noise.
- Gain experience across a wide range of sectors including but not limited to future energy (e.g. offshore wind, hydrogen and renewables), transport, defence industrial, mining and ports.
- Assisting in noise and vibration monitoring and compliance assessments.
- Assisting in writing and submission of tenders & proposals.
- Connect in with a wider team of professionals to share insights, knowledge and improve your overall technical capabilities.
- Be involved in team decisions relating to equipment and software purchases
Building strong collaborative relationships within GHD regionally and nationally.
What you will bring to the team:
- Relevant industry experience in acoustics
Well-developed communication skills - both verbal and written - Team player, cooperative with other staff with open sharing of information and knowledge
- Ability to work independently when required
- Willing to travel
- Maintain a valid NSW drivers license
- Able to manage several jobs at once and determine priorities
- Project management and delivery skills
- Demonstrated professional judgement and commercial acumen, including identifying, assessing, evaluating, and solving problems to brief and budget.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely.
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Proficiency in the noise modelling software (Cadna, Soundplan. EASE etc) MS Office suite and programming languages highly regarded
