Fixed term contract: 1 Aug 2024 to 1 Jan 2025 (plus 5-10 day handover before and after) to cover the CEO's long service leave.
Remuneration: Negotiable and will be commensurate with previous experience.

We are a single site not-for-profit residential Aged Care facility with 113 beds and employing approximately 60 FTE located in Balwyn North.
The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced executive to join Eva Tilley Memorial Home as an acting CEO role while our CEO is on long service leave.
This could be a perfect opportunity for senior leader within the Aged Care sector to progress their career to the CEO level.
Reporting directly to the Board, you will be responsible for the operational leadership and management of our staff to meet Eva Tilley’s strategy while upholding our values daily.
With the Aged Care sector undergoing significant change, we are looking for a candidate that can effectively provide high level strategic advice and analysis to the Board and ensures that Eva Tilley provides outstanding services to its residents while meeting all regulatory and compliance requirements.
The role requires extensive stakeholder engagement and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a range of senior staff, individuals and groups.

Key selection criteria
- Recent executive or senior management experience in residential Aged Care and full knowledge of the Aged Care legislative and regulatory environment.
- Track record of delivering the best possible outcomes for residents through excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage key stakeholders in the care of residents.
- Experience of leading highly successful teams a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management and strategic planning within the Aged Care sector.

Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be eligible to work in Aged Care under the Aged Care Act 1997 (Cth).
Your appointment is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of your vaccination requirements (including COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccines as per Department of Health and Aged Care and Department of Health, Victoria)) and all pre-employment and/or background checks required for the role in the residential Aged Care sector.
