This position is responsible for but not limited to:
- Admin – You will assist the CEO & Secretary in completing critical admin tasks including but not limited to race day admin, taking payments, social media, sponsorship and functions plans.
- Reception - As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and ensuring smooth operations.
- Your friendly demeanour, effective communication skills, and attention to detail will contribute to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Customer Service: Handle inquiries and provide support to clients, sponsors, and participants, ensuring a positive experience.
- Social media – You will take control of the social media for both the Harness Racing Club and the Club’s Function page with the aim of promoting the product of harness racing and the services the club provides.
- Social Media Management: Develop, curate, and schedule content across various social media platforms to enhance engagement and brand awareness.
- Content Creation: Write and design marketing materials, newsletters, and press releases to promote events and initiatives. Will need to be able to utilise the data from a CRM to engage with stakeholders to further improve customers captured.
- Sponsorship & Marketing– You will work closely with the CEO on strategising and securing sponsorship for the club. You will then be the point of call for sponsors to liaise with.
- Sponsorship Management: Identify potential sponsors, develop sponsorship proposals, and maintain relationships with current sponsors to secure funding and support.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of social media campaigns, sponsorship activities, and events, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Functions – You will organise and liaise with stakeholders wanting to hold a function at the Centre. At the function, you will be the Front of House “go to” person for functions held at the club to ensure the functions runs smoothly.
- Community Engagement: Foster relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and the public to enhance the company’s presence and reputation.
- Event Planning and Execution: Organise and oversee function, and race meetings, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
