  • $106,351 - $115,103 + 17% super + leave loading, pro-rata

The Division of Research & Enterprise is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of research and innovation initiatives at UNSW, advancing the University's research agenda and cultivating strategic partnerships to enhance its impact.

You’ll play a valuable role in cultivating UNSW’s profile and reputation in the research domain. Reporting to, and supporting, the Engagement & Communications Manager, your primary focus will be to deliver a series of research translation expos designed to stimulate industry partnerships in the National Reconstruction Fund priority areas. You’ll also manage the Innovation Community LinkedIn channel, produce internal and external newsletters, and assist with implementation of the new HubSpot CRM.

Who you are

You have a relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience, and can demonstrate the following Skills and Experience: -

  • Extensive event management experience with a demonstrated history of designing, planning, and executing memorable and successful events is essential
  • Project management and organisational skills to ensure all aspects of an event run smoothly, including budget, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • Ability to develop, implement and measure effective digital, media, and communications campaigns.
  • Computer platforms and applications, including CRMs, CMSs, Microsoft Office, Adobe suite, Canva, and Trello.
  • Working with industry-led R&D commercialisation pathways within a university environment desirable.
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training
