What’s on offer
We are looking for an Events & Communications Coordinator to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This role will play a central role in the ideation, planning and project management of Quantium’s internal and external events. This includes the curation of communications assets to support the delivery of these events.

Reporting to the Head of Brand and Communications, you will partner closely with Quantium’s Communications Leads on the end-to-end delivery of Australia-based events. You will also partner with relevant team members in Quantium’s international offices to support the coordination of key Quantium events and initiatives globally.

As a member of the Communications team, you will be Quantium’s biggest brand ambassador and champion, ensuring the Quantium Experience, Purpose, and Values are embedded across every company event and communications. Our events range from monthly global business updates, knowledge shares, D&I and community events, Executive forums, and who can forget our annual Quantium Day celebrations!

This is a 12-month fixed term contract based out of our head office in Eveleigh – conveniently located near Redfern station. About you
We move fast with care, in a high change, transformational environment. This role requires a dynamic and proactive individual who can think on their feet, drive for impact, and work at pace with minimal direction.

You must have previous experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate the end-to-end management of events (preferably at large scale: 800+ attendees).  Experience having supported global events, will be highly regarded.

To be successful in this role you must understand project management fundamentals – ability to set and deliver against timelines, manage stakeholders and keep others accountable, have high attention to detail, and deliver to budget.

You must demonstrate exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal. This role requires demonstrated experience in developing impactful and multichannel communications, including PowerPoint presentations, emails, invitations, intranet content, etc. 

You will also:

• Be creative, formulate ideas and articulate these to promote excitement and engagement
• Be able to build relationships easily with stakeholders at all levels – both internally and with external vendors
