Events and Communications Coordinator

We're looking for a motivated individual to join our team and support the Bowls NSW Sport (events) and Communications team through a busy operational period from February - July 2024!
Term: Contract role. 6-month fixed term.
Main Tasks - Events * Assist with Sport team with day-to-day event planning and execution

• Event support for the Sport team at major events across New South Wales
• Planning and logistics management leading into events
• Liaise with Clubs in relation to major event activity
• Delivery on general administrative tasks prescribed by the Sport team

Main Tasks - Communications * Compiling post-event event reports/wrap ups for publishing on Bowls NSW communications channels

• Capturing content including photography and video content at events
• Publishing and amplifying content on Bowls NSW social channels
• Supporting the Communications team in fulfilling sponsorship rights and benefits across major events

About You
We are seeking a proactive team player who loves to work in and around sport! Any previous exposure to sports Events and a keen interest in sports administration will be ideal for this role. Having relevant tertiary education is desirable, but not essential. You will be able to travel within NSW, and having your own Drivers License will be preferable.
