About the role
Join AEMO as an Administration Coordinator, supporting major projects like VNI West and the Western Renewables Link (WRL). You'll organize meetings and events, and streamline administrative processes. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and great with people. Be part of a dynamic team driving impactful energy projects on a 2-year fixed-term contract.
What you will be doing
- Assist the Stakeholder Engagement and Land Liaison teams with day-to-day admin
- Team meeting coordination – meeting minutes, agenda preparations, maintaining action registers
- Travel related bookings – accommodation and journey management including safety documents
- Assistance with maintaining the stakeholder and landholder database
- Coordinate feedback on various internal and external documents
- Proactively assist with the management of inquiries and complaints through accurate record keeping and resolution management
What you will bring to the role
- Five plus years’ experience working in a small to medium sized organisation delivering projects. Energy sector experience is highly preferred for this role
- Sound knowledge and experience using project management tools, processes and systems
- Proficient use of computer and Microsoft Office product suites, especially Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in coordinating the preparation of reports for audiences at management level
- Demonstrated experience in advocating, negotiating, and influencing outcomes whilst maintaining strong working relationships
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
