This position qualifies for a Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (pro-rata part-time/temporary positions less than 18 months), and a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (pro-rata part time), under the Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.
To recognise ongoing service in this role, once the successful candidate has served a qualifying period, they will become entitled to a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (as taxable income).

- Work in one of the Far West LHD's newer, modern facilities in a beautiful location 100 metres from the Murrumbidgee river
- Join a supportive, multi-disciplinary healthcare team who are very welcoming and embrace all newcomers to the hospital family
- Provide quality administrative support to the Health Service Manager.
- Attend to general reception and telephone enquiries.
- Fulfil administration functions of health facility including stock maintenance and ordering, petty cash maintenance and reconciliation, patient record administration and maintenance, and other duties as required by the Manager.

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible
- Certificate II in Business administration and/or experience providing administration support, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated intermediate computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and data entry.
- Experience with cash management, collection of fees and processing of accounts.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Understanding of cultural awareness issues and the need for cultural sensitivity.
