AddressProgrammed are currently seeking an Admin Operations Support Agent for our internationally known client who specialise in Large Freight Distribution worldwide, located in Eagle Farm. With excellent hours on offer and boundless opportunities on offer, why not join this well-established team!
The Role:
This role will be a blend of both admin duties and assisting the freight handling team with packages and parcels. You can expect to spend approximately 30% of each day assisting the drivers with their departures on the docks and completing some freight handling work. Duties of the role may include, but are not limited to the below:
- General admin duties - data entry, email correspondence, checking work orders
- Customer service duties - handling phone calls and assisting customers at reception
- Collecting packages from the warehouse for customer collection
- Assisting with freight handling work - loading and unloading trucks at loading docks
- Measuring, weighing and recording products and materials
What are we looking for?
- Current and valid drivers license and reliable transport
- Previous experience with freight is highly beneficial
- High level of attention to detail
- Basic computer skills and good literacy skills
- Safety conscious attitude
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work shifts across Monday to Friday (day shift)
- Willingness to complete pre-Employment medical and national police check
