Job description

Alpine Cooling Solutions are seeking an Admin & Warehouse AllRounder / Customer Service / Business Development. We are a wholesale supplier to the Automotive Industry.

Alpine Cooling Solutions based at Slacks Creek, are a wholesale supplier to mechanical workshops, and we are looking for a dynamic and proactive person to join us in this varied role - a role that is so varied and unique, it is up to you to drive the narrative! Bring your personable skills and passion, in a collaborative effort to enhance our service to our existing customer base, and to increase our reach to new customers.

Office and admin duties;

  • Answering phone calls and emails, assisting customers identifying what they need
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Specific part identification – namely radiators and intercoolers
  • Web site and inventory system maintenance
  • An eye for detail and a desire to get things right, the first time

Various warehouse duties 

  • Stock control and stock takes, managing stock locations, picking orders, and arranging freight and couriers
  • Some local deliveries and pickups in our company van
  • Assist with inbound container unloads and warehouse organisation
  • Product research and development

Business Development

  • After a period of time, and with confidence of our products and our customer’s needs, this role will lead into mixing your time up with customer visits. Fuelling your exuberance and excellent interpersonal skills, to foster strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities and contribute to the ongoing success with our growth.
  • CRM data base maintenance, and expansion into new businesses 
  • Attending Trade Shows and events

Qualifications & Personal Attributes;

There are no specific official qualifications required as this is purely a “people’s person” role. If you want variety and consider yourself a genuine allrounder, then this is for you. It really is a position of what you want to make it – we offer diversity and passion!

An open driver’s licence is essential, and so is your positive nature and willingness to service and help our customers. A can-do attitude is a must, strong work ethic and commitment is required, and so is a high level of Customer Service values. You will need to have proficient computer skills in excel and an inventory programme, you will need to be able to work autonomously, be self-motivated and positive. 

Any experience in the automotive industry, spare parts supply, Customer Service, sales or PR role would be an advantage.
