About the Role
We are looking for Accountant or a bookkeeper who will be responsible to provide financial and system administrative support to ensure reconciliations and financial reporting are handled in an accurate and efficient manner.
An outgoing and reliable professional with excellent interpersonal skills looking to advance their career in a dynamic and supportive environment. With experience in a firm or coming from an industry role you will have a sound knowledge in accounting and Finance looking to take on more responsibility.
Finance and Bookkeeping
- Accounts Payables
- Accounts Receivable
- Bank reconciliation
- General ledger reconciliation
- Intercompany transfers and reconciliation
- Understanding the concept of Plan management in the NDIS scenario
Customer Service
- Excellent communication skills
- Presenting face to face and over the phone tasks
- Understanding the policies and procedures of Plan management
- Empathy for disabled and their careers and families
- Conflict resolution
- Complaints management
- Understanding of the NDIS portal and latest changes in the NDIS world
Administration
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Assist with the management of all aspects of the SDSP accounting function
- Creating service booking and claiming from the portal
- Attention to details
- Speed and accuracy
IT and Analytics
- Trouble shooting when issues arise
- Understanding the systems and coming up with solutions.
- Generate reports for business analytics and also introduce business intelligence for future growth of the business.
About You:
- minimum diploma in accounting, bookkeeping or relevant qualification
- 2 years or more experience in an Accounting and Finance role
- Advance skills and knowledge of MS word, Excel and Outlook
- Previous experience in using Xero app
