We are a privately owned company with 15 salons located in premium locations in Queensland, Melbourne & Sydney, celebrating over 34 years.
Our purpose driven Head Office team work on the continued improvement of our business, while keeping our guests and salon partners at the forefront of everything we do.
We are currently looking for a talented individual who can complement and support our passionate Head Office Team. This is a full time position entry level position.
About the role:
The Administration Assistant role will work in conjunction with all the departments in our business. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and phone calls coming into our office. We are looking for someone with strong verbal and written communication skills with an infectious personality. You will have a passion for luxury and to be involved in the hair industry.
This role also involves working closely with our salon partners, stylists, and brand partners to deliver the best experience possible for our Oscar Oscar Salons.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Manage and direct all incoming phone calls, internal and external
- Manage and respond to all incoming emails from salons, guest enquiries and suppliers
- Receiving and unpacking deliveries
- Packing / dispatching salon supplies and orders
- Maintaining and ordering items such as stationary, marketing collateral and groceries for office use
- Handling office related queries in relation to IT, phones etc
- Collate general stock count updates from our salons
- Monitor and update changes / adjustments on our software
- Generating stock reports
- Assisting other departments as needed
- Filing & archiving
- Setting meeting rooms up for meetings incl. equipment and catering.
- Oversee overall office cleanliness including kitchen, bathrooms, maintenance, and other requirements as they arise in relation to the office environment.
We are looking for someone:
- Who is a true team player
- Who can learn quickly and adapt to change
- With strong time management and organisational skills
- Must have strong computer skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Any background in logistics is advantageous but not essential
